We are committed to improving maternal health outcomes by providing compassionate, culturally competent doula services and education. Our work empowers expecting mothers, supports families, and equips doulas with the knowledge and skills they need to make a difference in their communities.
🌿 Supporting Families Through Birth & Postpartum
Over the past three years, we have provided Birth and Postpartum Doula Services to approximately 150 families, ensuring that mothers receive the care, advocacy, and support they deserve throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.
📚 Educating & Engaging the Community
Our Community Education Classes have reached over 1,000 participants, including 200 children, equipping families with essential knowledge about maternal health, childbirth, and postpartum care.
🎓 Training & Certifying Doulas
We believe in growing a network of skilled, culturally diverse doulas to serve our communities:
✔️ 33 doulas have completed Birth and Postpartum Doula Training and received certification. These doulas speak Amharic, Tigrinya, Somali, Oromo, Dari, Arabic, and Spanish, making care more accessible to diverse families.
✔️ 20 doulas have earned certificates for Continuing Education Classes, advancing their expertise as Professional Community Doulas.
